"MahaDeviBot Variations" is an improvisational work based on software developed for "Underground Economy." It is scored for the MahaDeviBot robot of Ajay Kapur, a device that plays Indian percussion.

This piece combines Ajay Kapur's MahaDeviBot, an autonomous 12-armed robotic instrument, with the radiodrum, a virtual instrument that tracks musical gestures in three dimensions.
