"MahaDeviBot Variations" is an improvisational work based on software developed for "Underground Economy." It is scored for the MahaDeviBot robot of Ajay Kapur, a device that plays Indian percussion.

Performed by Andrew Schloss at the Third Annual MISTIC Concert, University of Victoria, November 29, 2007 (World Premier). This piece combines Ajay Kapur's MahaDeviBot, an autonomous 12-armed robotic instrument, with the radiodrum, a virtual instrument that tracks musical gestures in three dimensions.
